Pirate Talk created a new pair of pants...Aaaarrrghhhh!!!

It's official..the votes were unanimous!!! Doubloon Pantaloons it is!  I think when I get the ones for the boys designed I will call those ones Treasure Trousers...another name that I might consider when it comes time to make them into shorts is Booty Britches(Booty is pirates treasure if you don't speak pirate!) I also silk screened a few images of my favorite screens onto some American Apparel 3/4 sleeve raglan tees for Miss Sadie! A few designers are doing this right now, so I don't want to seem like I'm copying...but... if there is enough interest, I might consider it!!! You will have to let me know!!!
So I made Sadie two pairs, a size 2 and a size 3 to see what fits better, the first ones are the size 3, and they fit her pretty baggy..she can wear them with still plenty of room for growth.and we rolled the waist on them, so they for sure will work for awhile...I managed to get her to try on the two's also with the rollerskate shirt and those fit her much better! More of a true fit! The waist isn't rolled and if it were cold outside these would be the ones she would wear right now! (She's 2 1/2, and about 25 pounds for those comparing for your own child to determine size)!!!
I hope you like them! They have a knit waistband, a ruffled hem (when I make the boys version they wont have a ruffled hem), and a 'treasure' pocket for your doubloons or rocks as Sadie kept putting in hers....(thats about the only treasure we find in our yards here in AZ!) I can't wait to get going on these and offer them in the shop! They will be offered all season long with a shorter version to come next spring! Thank you all so much for your input on the name......
